How away day pricing usually works
Most providers price per head, so the bill grows in a straight line with the size of the team. A facilitated day is usually priced per day instead, because the work is in the design and the facilitation rather than in the covers. That is why a facilitated day gets cheaper per person as the team grows, and why our pricing page quotes a day rate rather than a rate per person.
Elsewhere, venue hire, facilitation and catering are often quoted separately, and the true total only appears once you add them up. Here it is one figure. We have written up how the market prices these days in our guide to the cost of a corporate away day in the UK.
The cheapest option is rarely the one that changes anything. A day that is comfortable and forgettable costs less and returns less. Away day cost FAQs
How much does a corporate away day cost in the UK?
It varies widely. A room with lunch and no facilitation is around £350 to £850 for a team of ten. An activity-led day is typically £80 to £200 a person. A professionally facilitated day is usually £1,500 to £4,000. Ours start from £1,000 + VAT for a full facilitated day, for teams of 4 to 20+.
Is the price per person or per day?
Per day. That is why the per-head figure falls as the team gets bigger. A team of four works out at around £250 each, a team of twenty at around £50 each, for the same day.
What is included in the price?
Pre-day discovery and bespoke design, a full day facilitated by a clinical psychologist, exclusive use of the venue and the 80-acre landscape, and all catering prepared on site. There are no separate venue-hire add-ons.
Do you offer a discount for charities?
Yes. Registered not-for-profit organisations are offered a 50% discount.
What does the overnight option add?
A shared evening meal with informal facilitated space, accommodation, and breakfast the following morning. Bell tents are on site from April to September; outside the camping season we arrange rooms with local B&Bs and hotels.
